Aydin Mohtashamian

Chief Operating Officer at Parry Labs

Aydin Mohtashamian has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Aydin is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Parry Labs since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at QinetiQ US, starting in 2018. At QinetiQ US, they held the positions of President, C5ISR Solutions from September 2021 to July 2022, and Vice President, Land and Air Integration from April 2018 to September 2021. Before joining QinetiQ US, Aydin Mohtashamian worked at L3 Maritime Systems as the Director of Program Management from April 2012 to March 2018. Aydin also served as a Program Manager at L-3 Communications from July 2008 to April 2012. Earlier in their career, Aydin Mohtashamian worked at WorleyParsons as a Project Engineer for a brief period in 2008. Aydin began their professional journey in the US Army as a Logistics Officer from May 1999 to August 2005, and later served as a Public Affairs Officer from March 2005 to January 2008.

Aydin Mohtashamian's education history includes obtaining a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Maryland in 2016. Prior to that, Aydin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1995 to 1999. Aydin also completed a Certificate in Strategic Decision Making and Risk Management from Stanford University in 2017.

There are several additional certifications that Aydin has obtained. Aydin is a Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) from INCOSE, having obtained this certification in May 2018. Aydin also holds a PMI-Scheduling Professional certification from PMI, which was obtained in October 2013. In addition, Aydin has a PMI-Risk Professional certification from PMI, obtained in December 2012. Aydin obtained a Program Management Professional certification in November 2009, and a Fundemental of Engineering certification from the State of California in June 2009.

Aydin has also completed several certificate programs. Aydin earned a Certificate as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University in 2010. In 2009, Aydin completed a Certificate in Project Management from UCLA. Additionally, Aydin obtained a Graduate Certificate in International Relations from Texas A&M University in 2007. Aydin's educational journey began with earning a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University from 2000 to 2002.
