Brad Richards has a diverse work experience starting from 2011. Brad worked as a Product Manager at AppGeneration, where they oversaw the analysis and development of multiple in-house mobile applications and focused on mobile marketing platforms. In 2013, they became the Mobile Platform Manager at Polaroid, leading the mobile division and overseeing developers and designers. Brad focused on increasing user interaction, profitability, and brand identity through app redesign. In 2014, they worked as a Mobile Business Consultant at TheAppLabb, collaborating with stakeholders to define business and system requirements, troubleshoot problems, and conduct usability tests. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Senior Product Manager at MAGIX AG, responsible for the growth and profitability of mobile products. Brad led a UX/UI overhaul and achieved significant increases in retentions, users, and revenue. Moving forward, from 2016 to 2019, they joined Daimler AG as a Senior Program Manager and later as a Senior Product Manager, focusing on building startups and creating new digital products. In 2019, they held positions at The DO School as a Director of Innovation and at the United Nations as an Innovation Advisor. Currently, they are working with ParshipMeet Group as the Senior Vice President of Product Development for the Social Dating Portfolio. Additionally, they are involved with Raspberry as a Member and Investor.
Brad Richards attended the University of Guelph from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained an Honors Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing Management. During the same period, they also earned a Certificate of Leadership in Organizational Leadership from the University of Guelph. In terms of additional certifications, Brad received the Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) certification from Scrum.org in 2016, and completed the Implementing SAFe Course (5.0) offered by Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2020.
