Rhonda Shand

Rhonda Shand, P. Eng. (APEGA, Yukon), VA6SF, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical, instrumentation, control, and electronic engineering. As the Lead Engineer at Parsons Corporation since March 2023 and holding a similar position at Shand Power Apparatus Research Corporation since April 1997, Rhonda oversees projects from inception to completion. Previously, Rhonda worked at Parsons Corporation in a Systems Lead Engineer capacity, focusing on traction power system design and project coordination. During a brief tenure at Sabre Instrument Services Ltd., Rhonda provided power system design quotes while fostering client relationships. Rhonda also served as Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Manager at VTEK Consultants Inc., leading a team across multiple locations for oil, gas, and petrochemical projects. Rhonda holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta and has pursued various post-secondary training since 1998.
