Bruce Pendergast

Bruce Pendergast has over three decades of work experience, starting in 1982 with the US Army, where they served as a Sergeant until 1988. Bruce then joined the New York State Insurance Department as an Actuarial Analyst in 1992 and stayed with them until 1998. After that, they worked at Frontier Insurance Co as a Senior Actuarial Analyst for three years. In 2001, they joined SCOR as a Reserving Actuary and worked there until 2003. Currently, they are working at PartnerRe as the Vice President and Reserving Actuary.

Bruce Pendergast earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Business Analytics from Jacksonville University from 2018 to 2021. Bruce previously obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the State University of New York at Old Westbury from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, they attended The Polytechnic Institute of New York University from 1980 to 1982, where they studied Mechanical Engineering. Bruce completed their high school education at Island Trees High School from 1976 to 1980. In addition to their formal education, Bruce holds additional certifications, including a Commercial Driver certification from the New York State, and they are a Fellow in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
