Julie Perks

Julie Perks is a seasoned professional in the field of risk management and actuarial science, currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer for North America Life & Health at PartnerRe since September 2019. Previously, Perks held key positions such as Vice President of Asset-Liability Management at Resolution, where support was provided for the establishment of a Bermuda-based Life Reinsurer, and Head of Investment Product and Portfolio Risk at Great-West Life, where a Market Risk Management function was developed. With extensive experience across various organizations, including New York Life Investment Management, Aviva Investors North America, and Manulife Financial, Julie Perks has demonstrated a strong capability in managing investment compliance, risk modeling, and portfolio optimization, complemented by a B.Sc.(Hons) in Actuarial Science from the University of Toronto.
