Elizabeth Cooley Nelson currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Partners in Parenting, an organization dedicated to providing peer support programs for new parents in Central Texas. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Analyst at the University of Washington's Center on Reinventing Public Education from 2009 to 2015, and a position in the Office of Portfolio Development at the New York City Department of Education from 2007 to 2009. Elizabeth also worked as an Assistant to the President at the Center for American Progress from 2005 to 2007. Elizabeth holds a Master of Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes College. Additionally, Elizabeth studied at The University of Sydney.
