CJ Gaffney

VP, Strategy & Insights at Partners + Napier

CJ Gaffney has a strong background in strategy and planning, particularly in the advertising and media industry. They started their career as a Media Planner at Universal McCann in 2007 and progressed to become a Media Supervisor before becoming a Director of Experience Architect, where they focused on developing non-traditional media solutions. CJ then moved to A&E Television Networks as a Senior Director of Brand and Media Strategy, where they oversaw media executions and collaborated with various departments to tailor campaigns. In 2015, CJ joined Jay Advertising as a Director of Strategy and Branded Content. Currently, they work at Partners + Napier, first as a Director of Strategic Planning and now as the VP of Strategy & Insights. In this role, CJ leads the brand planning department, focusing on building new brands and helping established ones find new opportunities.

CJ Gaffney obtained their Bachelor of Communications/Journalism degree from St. John Fisher University, where they studied Communications/Journalism from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Prof G Certified Brand Strategist from Section4 in February 2021.
