Charles Peterson

Charles Peterson currently serves as an Associate at the Partnership for Southern Equity since July 2022. Previously, Charles held the role of Program Manager at the Atlanta Police Foundation from October 2020 to September 2022, where responsibilities included designing and executing youth diversion programs, coordinating with approximately 15 program partners, evaluating program impact, and managing an annual budget of $1.2 million. Prior to that, Charles worked as a Community Facility Manager for the City of Atlanta from May 2015 to April 2022, overseeing daily operations for recreational facilities, impacting programming for youth, and managing a team of 20-30 staff members. Charles holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts/Business from Bethune-Cookman University, earned between 2009 and 2013.
