Catherine Hogan, MS, CTTS, serves as the Executive Director of the Solace Institute since its founding in September 2007, leading a national, trauma-informed cognitive-behavioral treatment program focused on individuals with trauma and loss-driven mental health disorders. Additionally, Catherine works as a Parent Educator for the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids and contributes as an Advisory Council Member for the Susan B. Anthony Project. With extensive experience as a Grief Recovery Therapist at the Grief Recovery Institute and as a Bereavement Therapist in private practice, Catherine has been instrumental in grief recovery services. Previous roles include Grief Recovery Specialist at Huntington Hospital and completing grief recovery certification at the Grief Recovery Institute. Catherine holds a BA in English, Philosophy, and Religion from Amherst College, a Master's in Clinical Psychology from New College of California, and an MFA in Black and White Photography from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.
