David Clark Dobson has been working in the software engineering and mathematics industries for over 30 years. David Clark began their career in 1990 as a Research Associate and Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota. In 1993, they moved to Texas A&M University, where they held the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor of Mathematics. In 2002, they moved to the University of Utah, where they were a Professor of Mathematics until 2014. From 2014 to 2019, Dobson held the roles of President at Aleph1 Labs, LLC, Principal Visiting Scientist at Decision Sciences Medical Co., LLC, and Sr. Principal Industrial Engineer at Northrop Grumman. David Clark is currently employed as a Principal Software Engineer at PassiveLogic.

David Clark Dobson obtained a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Utah State University between 1982 and 1986. David Clark then went on to pursue a Ph.D in Mathematical Sciences from Rice University from 1987 to 1990.
