Lauren Frisch

Lauren Frisch has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. From 2023, they served as the Climate Trust Lead at Patch, a company focused on climate issues. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, they worked as a Program Manager at Climate Neutral. In 2020, Lauren was the Operations Manager at WholeWorks LLC and also worked as an MBA Consultant at NativeEnergy, a Public Benefit Corporation. From 2013, they held multiple positions at the UAF College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, including Communications Specialist, Public Information Officer, Alaska Sea Grant Communications Intern, and Ocean Acidification Research Center Research Associate.

Lauren also gained experience as a Catskill Environmental Research and Monitoring Intern at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation in 2013. In 2012, they were a Student Researcher at the Juneau Icefield Research Program. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2012, they held various roles at Colgate University, including Tour Guide and Information Session Illustrator in the Office of Admissions, Geology Research Assistant in the Geochemistry Lab, and Geology Teaching Assistant. Lauren Frisch's education history begins with their high school education at the Latin School of Chicago from 2004 to 2008. Lauren then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Geology at Colgate University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. After completing their undergraduate studies, they attended Bard College from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Policy.

In 2019, Lauren enrolled in the Sustainable Innovation MBA program at the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business, which they completed in 2020. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Certificate of Proficiency in GHG Accounting for Forest and Other Land Use Projects from the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute in February 2021. Lauren also holds certifications in Basics of Project-Level GHG Accounting and Basics of Organizational GHG Accounting from the same institute, which they obtained in October and September 2020, respectively.

Furthermore, Lauren has additional certifications in Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP in November 2019 and Wilderness First Responder from Wilderness Medical Associates International in May 2015. Lauren also received a HBX CORe: Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online, although the specific month of obtaining this certification is not mentioned. Finally, Lauren obtained a SCUBA certification from PADI in 2008.
