Krishna Gopinath has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Krishna started their career at Cognizant Technology Solutions in 2011 as a Software Developer, where they built web apps using jQuery, Angular, and ASP.NET MVC. Krishna then advanced to the position of Senior Software Developer, where they architected and built a mobile app platform for hosting internal "micro" mobile web apps.
In 2016, Krishna worked as a JavaScript Intern at Argyle Technology Group, where they ideated and built the first version of MemoryFox, a platform for aggregating crowd-sourced social media content at events. Krishna utilized React, Cordova, Node.js, and MySQL to develop web and hybrid mobile apps.
From 2017 to 2020, Krishna joined Pointman LLC as a Software Engineer and eventually became a Senior Software Engineer. During this time, they played a significant role in designing and building Pointman's Payment integration from scratch. This involved scoping out requirements, writing a Cordova plugin to interact with Mobile Payment SDKs, and integrating with multiple web and Cordova apps. Krishna also wrote API wrapper libraries in Node.js and .NET platforms.
Currently, Krishna is a Principal Software Engineer at Patch.com since 2020.
Krishna Gopinath completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University from 2007 to 2011. Krishna later pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science at the University at Buffalo from 2015 to 2016.
