Ankur Mutreja is an accomplished leader in global health and infectious diseases currently serving as the Director of Strategy Partnerships and Communication for South Asia at PATH since July 2024. Ankur holds several adjunct professor positions at Christian Medical College and Hospital in Vellore, Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, and TRANSLATIONAL HEALTH SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE. As a Group Leader at the University of Cambridge, Ankur directs a translational research group focused on developing innovative vaccines and diagnostics. Ankur has previously managed global partnerships for CEPI, working with low- and middle-income countries, and held key roles at Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and MSD Wellcome Trust Hilleman Laboratories. Ankur's educational background includes a PhD in Molecular Epidemiology from the University of Cambridge, a Master's in Industrial and Commercial Biotechnology from Newcastle University, and a Bachelor's in Microbiology from Delhi University.
