Software Engineer at Path Robotics

Christina Moyer has held a variety of positions in the field of software engineering and research. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at Path Robotics. In 2020, they attended Tech Elevator's Java Development Bootcamp, where they completed projects such as a Catering System Software, an Excelsior Venues Reservation System, a TenMo Money Transfer App, and a ROCK Medical Network appointment scheduling app. From 2016 to 2020, they were an Affiliate Graduate Faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Research Scientist and Principal Investigator at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where they secured research funding from the U.S. National Institutes of Health. From 2008 to 2012, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where they extended prior research using the Drosophila melanogaster animal model into new directions. From 2002 to 2008, they were a Graduate Research Fellow at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where they developed and applied a novel animal model to decipher Porphyromonas gingivalis-host interactions. From 2000 to 2002, they were a Research Assistant at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where they conducted clinical research.

Christina Moyer received their PhD in Integrated Biomedical Science- Microbial Pathogenesis from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2008. In 2020, they attended Tech Elevator for a Java Web Application Development Bootcamp. Prior to this, they earned a B.S. (Magna Cum Laude with Honors in the Liberal Arts) in Microbiology from The Ohio State University in 2000.
