Manish Mitra

Manish Mitra is an experienced leader in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) with a robust background in managing programs focused on youth empowerment and gender issues across South Asia. Currently serving as Country Director for Pathfinder International in India, Manish oversees multiple initiatives, including the USD 12 million YUVAA Project aimed at increasing contraceptive uptake among young people. Previous roles include Senior Technical Director at the International Planned Parenthood Federation, where Manish provided strategic guidance for SRHR programs in nine South Asian countries, and Project Manager for Plan International's Young Health Programme in India. With a foundation in Rural Development and Public Health, Manish has also held positions at VSO, Sightsavers, CARE International, and other organizations, contributing to governance and health initiatives across various states in India.
