Daniel A. Cortez

Daniel Cortez has extensive experience in the field of pathology. Daniel currently serves as the Medical Director and Staff Pathologist at Sierra Pathology Laboratory. Prior to this, they held the position of Medical Director at Mercy San Juan Medical Center and Staff Pathologist at LUCENT PATHOLOGY PARTNERS, INC. Daniel also served as the Medical Director at Sierra Endocrine Assoc and held the role of Staff Pathologist at Sierra Pathology Laboratory and Community Medical Centers. Cortez has been involved in these positions since 2013 and continues to contribute their expertise in the field.

Daniel Cortez attended the University of California, San Francisco from 2002 to 2006, earning their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Daniel then pursued further education at the University of Southern California from 2007 to 2013, focusing on Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Surgical Pathology, and Cytopathology.
