James Massaro

James Massaro has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. James began their career at MDA Information Systems, Inc. as a GIS Engineer in 2012. In 2013, they moved to Rivanna Medical as a Software Engineer. In 2015, they took on two concurrent roles as a Software/Electrical Engineer at Thomas Electronics Inc. and an Application Engineer at Alstom Transport. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer/Image Scientist at Caliber Imaging & Diagnostics, Inc. and then as a Senior Software Engineer at both Optel, Inc. and Bristol Instruments, Inc. In 2020, they took on roles as a Software Consultant at Massaro Consulting and R&D Staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at PathologyWatch.

James Massaro attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering. James then returned to Rochester Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2010, completing their Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
