Sharmen Hall-Lengel has had a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Sharmen started their career at Henry Ford Hospital as a Medical Assistant/Billing from 1987 to 1996. Sharmen then joined Crestmark, a division of MetaBank, as a 1st VP - Information Security Officer from 2000 to 2019. During this time, they also held various positions at Pathward, including Vice President/Operations (2000-2010), Vice President/Project Manager (2010-2017), and 1st VP - Information Security Officer (2017-2019). Sharmen continued their journey at MetaBank as a Business Solutions Architect (2019-2020) and at Jack Henry & Associates as a Technical Services Engineer (2019). Sharmen returned to Pathward as a Vice President - Broker & Vendor Relations (2020-2021), Director Portfolio Management (2021-2022), and Director Program Project Management (2000, 2022).
Sharmen Hall-Lengel has a diverse education history. In 2002, they attended Baker College Center for Graduate Studies and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance in 2005. Following this, they pursued further education at Baker College Center for Graduate Studies from 2005 to 2008, earning another Bachelor's degree, this time in Business Management. Sharmen then focused on specialized certifications in the field of banking and security. In 2015, they attended SBS Institute and became a Certified Community Bank Vendor Manager, specializing in Vendor Management. The following year, in 2016, they obtained a certification as a Certified Business Continuity Professional from SBS Institute, concentrating on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. Finally, in 2017, they completed a certification as a Certified Bank Security Manager from SBS, focusing on Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.
