Allie Calhoun

Allie Calhoun is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in providing behavioral health services to children and families. Currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor and Behavioral Health Intervention Services Provider at Pathways Behavioral Services Inc., Allie focuses on enhancing social skills, emotional regulation, and executive functioning in children. Previous roles include a Mental Health Counseling Intern working with children of various ages through modalities such as play therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy, and an Education Assistant at Community United Child Care Centers. Allie has also gained valuable counseling experience through practicums at the University of Northern Iowa Counseling Center and Aplington-Parkersburg Elementary, and has supported K-2 students as a Mental Health Counseling Practicum Student. Allie's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Counseling with a Clinical Mental Health emphasis and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, both from the University of Northern Iowa.
