Thomas Scheid

Member, Patient Engagement Advisory Panel at Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute

Thomas Scheid has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Thomas is a founding board member of Welcome Home for Life Network, where they focus on reintegrating formerly incarcerated men into the community by providing support and resources. Thomas is also a member of the Patient Engagement Advisory Panel at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). Additionally, they are the owner of Thomas Scheid Associates, a consultancy firm they established in 2005. In the past, they served as the Site Principal Investigator for Voices for Ohio's Children and held the position of Interim Director for Exceptional Children at the Ohio Department of Education.

Thomas Scheid attended Newark Catholic for their primary education. Thomas then went on to The Ohio State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from 1965 to 1969. After obtaining their undergraduate degree, they continued their education at The Ohio State University and earned a Master's degree in Educational Research and Design from 1969 to 1970.
