Angie Hemmelgarn

Angie Hemmelgarn has a solid work experience in the field of human resources. Angie is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at PatientPoint® since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Claritas from 2017 to 2023 as the Chief HR Officer. At Claritas, they were responsible for starting up the HR function and leading the People and Internal Communications strategies.

From 2015 to 2017, Hemmelgarn held the position of Chief People Officer at Everything But The House, where they developed the HR function and implemented key initiatives for recruitment, retention, development, and engagement.

Before that, Hemmelgarn worked at The Nielsen Company for a significant part of their career, from 1999 to 2015. Angie progressed within the HR function from HR Business Partner to Vice President, where they led HR for global functions and partnered with business leaders for talent acquisition, retention, and employee development.

Hemmelgarn also gained experience at INC Research as an HR Manager from 1998 to 1999, where they developed HR policies, implemented training programs, and redesigned the performance management system.

Angie started their career at LifeNet in 1996 as an HR Manager, where they established and led the HR function and implemented various HR programs and practices.

Prior to that, Hemmelgarn worked at Cintas from 1992 to 1996, where they progressed from an intern to an HR Manager. Angie focused on recruitment, reducing attrition, and implementing OSHAA training in multiple rental plants.

Overall, Hemmelgarn has a diverse and extensive background in HR, with significant experience in leadership roles and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.

Angie Hemmelgarn obtained their Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Cincinnati, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Angie later pursued a Master's degree in Labor and Employment Relations from the same university, completing their studies from 1991 to 1993.
