Simon Williams is the Chief Technology Officer at Patina. Simon was previously with Lemonaid Health, where they served as CTO from June 2015 to January 2022.
Under Simon's leadership, Lemonaid Health has become a profitable company of 80+, making affordable healthcare accessible to patients in all 50 states. The company closed an over-subscribed $33M Series B round in July 2020. As CTO, Simon is responsible for designing and building technology that enables new healthcare services to be quickly defined and deployed via Lemonaid Health's website and mobile apps. Simon has also recruited, motivated and retained a team of highly-skilled software engineers in a culture of personal growth, fun and mutual respect. Additionally, Simon has maintained system and data security in a highly regulated environment, built technical and business relationships with Lemonaid's partners, and evolved Lemonaid's technical stack to stay current with technology shifts.
In addition to their work at Lemonaid Health, Simon has also built and managed a functioning product management team to garner, prioritize and deliver the most important features required by the company. Simon has also designed and implemented technology to quickly react to a changing regulatory landscape and enable application logic to follow suit quickly, and without having to wait for Apple and Google to bless these changes.
Simon Williams has an HND in Business Computing from Gloucester College of Arts & Technology and a certification in Psychological Safety from LinkedIn. Simon is currently a back-end web developer at General Assembly.
