Atte Virtanen

Atte Virtanen is a seasoned Test Manager at Patria, specializing in underwater devices since August 2021. Prior to this role, Atte was a DSP Software Engineer at Nokia, contributing to baseband SoC modeling from June 2019 to August 2021, and completed a Master's thesis on telephony speech using artificial neural networks at Aalto University. At poLight, Atte worked as a Design Engineer in Imaging Systems, developing control software for tunable polymer lenses. Previous experience includes significant audio tuning responsibilities at Microsoft and multiple roles at Nokia, spanning audio tuning and research, as well as software engineering at Sasken Finland Oy. Atte holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Tampere University of Technology.
