Sean Kienle

Sean Kienle is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of medical and laboratory instruments. Currently serving as Staff Mechanical Engineer at Pattern Bioscience since March 2023, Sean previously held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at Inflammatix, Inc., where responsibilities included leading the design of a diagnostic instrument for sepsis detection. Prior to that, Sean was a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Ximedica, overseeing product lifecycle processes from concept to delivery. Earlier roles included Mechanical Engineer at Accel Biotech, Inc., Mechanical Design Engineer at D3 Technologies, and Project Manager at Professional Engineer Balance Lab, LLC. Sean holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from Trinity University.
