Scott Davis has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of photography. Scott started their career in 1996, working as a Photographer for the State of Utah Resource Web Project. Scott was responsible for photographing the Utah landscape, museums, and natural resources for the SURWeb.org website.
In 1997, Scott joined the Faculty Assistance Center at the College of Eastern Utah as a Photographer. During their time there, they produced photographs and web designs for college departments and assisted faculty with audio-visual needs.
In 2001, Scott worked as a Photo Editor for The Utah Statesman, where they managed photo-related tasks for the media organization until 2004.
From 2004 to 2005, Scott joined Dunker Imaging as a Post-Production Manager, overseeing post-production processes for the company.
In 2005, Scott joined Stampin' Up! as a Photography Manager, where they worked until 2012. Scott was responsible for managing photography projects within the company.
Starting in 2012, Scott worked as a Freelance Commercial Photographer for their own company, Scott Davis Photography. Scott provided commercial photography services until they were hired as the Director of Photography at Overstock.com in August 2014. Scott held this position until January 2019.
Currently, Scott is working as the Director of Photography at Pattern, a position they have held since February 2019.
Scott Davis attended the College of Eastern Utah from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Graphic Design. Scott later went on to study at Utah State University from 2001 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Their degree at Utah State University had a focus on Photography.
