Chad Smeltzer

Chad Smeltzer is an experienced operations manager currently serving as Area Operations Manager and Distribution Center Manager at Patterson Companies, Inc. since February 2010. Chad oversees a substantial annual budget of $19 million and manages the operations of a 215,000 sq ft warehouse with 125 employees, contributing significantly to the organization’s $270 million in sales. In previous roles, Chad played a vital part in the successful implementation of SAP-EWM and was instrumental in consolidating operations within the South Bend facility. Prior to Patterson, Chad served as Plant Manager at Aggregate Industries UK, where Chad achieved notable success by leading the plant to be the first NRMA Green Star Certified facility in the state, while managing inventory, productivity, and staff scheduling.
