Cheyanne Freitas

Cheyanne Freitas is an experienced educator currently serving as the Secondary Math Intervention and Instructional Coach at Patterson Joint Unified School District since July 2024. Previously, Cheyanne held the position of Mathematics Department Chair at Dixon Unified School District and contributed as a Guest Blogger for Edutopia - George Lucas Educational Foundation from March 2022 to December 2024. As a Teacher Leader for the UC Davis Mathematics Project and a Mathematics Teacher in multiple districts, including Dixon Unified and Folsom Cordova Unified School Districts, Cheyanne has demonstrated a strong commitment to mathematics education. Cheyanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics for High School Teaching from UC Santa Barbara, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University Irvine, and a Single Subject Teaching Credential from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
