Berkay Öztürk

Berkay Öztürk has three years of work experience. Berkay is currently a Software Engineer, Data at pave.dev and a Data Engineer at n11.com. Previously, they were an Assistant Machine Learning Specialist (Data Engineering Focused) at KKB Kredi Kayıt Bürosu from 2019 to 2021. During their time there, they designed, programmed and deployed an end-to-end fully automated machine learning platform with batch and streaming data pipelines for anomaly detection on streaming data. This project was approved for funding by TUBITAK with their proof-of-concept work. Berkay also created a real-time dashboard for deploying data pipelines and machine learning models on demand, visualizing model predictions and discussing outcomes across teams on forums. Additionally, they were a Data Science Intern at KKB Kredi Kayıt Bürosu.

Berkay Öztürk obtained their Bachelor's degree in International Trade and Business from Istanbul Bilgi University between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from Istanbul Anatolian High School between 2011 and 2015. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, such as the "Building Batch Data Pipelines on GCP" from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2020, the "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals" from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2020, the "Modernizing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses with GCP" from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2020, the "Docker and Kubernetes: The Complete Guide" from Udemy in January 2020, the "CSS - The Complete Guide (incl. Flexbox, Grid & Sass)" from Udemy in August 2019, the "The Ultimate MySQL Bootcamp: Go from SQL Beginner to Expert" from Udemy in April 2019, and the "Ethical Hacker Penetration Testing Training" from Adnan Menderes University in March 2017.
