Ahmed Talaat, MBA, CIIP, CPIA, ITIL®, has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry. Ahmed began their career in 2007 as a Biomedical Engineer at the Center for Advanced Softwares & Biomedical Engineering Consultations (CASBEC) - Cairo University. In 2008, they moved to Millenmed Solutions as a Technical Support Engineer. In 2010, they began working at MedStreaming LLC as a Senior Technical Support Engineer. In 2011, they returned to PaxeraHealth as a Technical Support & Application Manager, where they were responsible for PACS/RIS solutions architecture, implementation, administration, and troubleshooting. In 2015, they joined GE Healthcare as a Customer Technical Center Leader, Healthcare Digital, Africa, and Install & Upgrade Regional Team, Healthcare Digital, EGM&A. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Vice President Of Implementation Services at PaxeraHealth.
Ahmed Talaat has an extensive educational background. Ahmed obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Systems and Biomedical Engineering from Cairo University in 2007. In 2017, they attended The American University in Cairo for Project Management. Ahmed then obtained the Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) certification from ABII in 2012 and the Certified PACS Interface Analyst (CPIA) certification from PACS Administrators Registry and Certification Association (PARCA). In 2018, they obtained the Building Essential Leadership Skills certification from GE Crotonville. In 2019, they earned the ITIL® Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice and in 2020, they obtained the GE Lean 1 certification from GE. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
