Ivo Fernandes

Ivo Fernandes is a software engineer with experience in various companies. Ivo most recently worked at Paxos as a software engineer starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon as a software engineer from April 2019 to November 2021. Before joining Amazon, they were employed at Deimos Engenharia as a software engineer. In this role, they developed a machine learning tool to generate land use land cover maps and maintained and refactored the existing ELK stack. Ivo also worked at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto as a software engineer, where they contributed to the development of the Winds web platform to manage wind research campaigns.

Ivo Fernandes completed their education at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto from 2013 to 2018. Ivo obtained an Integrated Master's degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering during this time. In December 2019, Ivo received the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
