Doug Schmidt is the Founder of Metaprise, the virtual market platform that connects investors and corporate partners with private companies. Doug is also an active mentor and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at multiple global accelerator companies, advisor for growth-stage startups, and an advisor at Venture Capital Firms. Before becoming an entrepreneur and business owner, Doug worked as Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer for nearly 30 years for some of the world's largest public companies including CNET Networks, CBS Interactive, Pearson PLC, and Dentsu.
