Mayura Nawarathne

Mayura Nawarathne has extensive experience in the software engineering field. They are currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Payconiq International. Prior to that, they held the position of Software Architect at Altrium from October 2022 to January 2023.

Before Altrium, Mayura was a Senior Lead Software Engineer at Limark Technologies from June 2021 to October 2022. They also worked at Accelerite as a Senior Technical Lead from January 2019 to May 2021, a Technical Lead from September 2016 to December 2018, and an Associate Technical Lead from October 2015 to September 2016.

Mayura's earlier experience includes working at Intel Corporation as an Associate Tech Lead from April 2015 to October 2015, a Senior Software Engineer from April 2014 to March 2015, and a Software Engineer from May 2013 to March 2014. They also worked at AePONA as a Software Engineer from August 2012 to April 2013.

Finally, Mayura worked at Aepona Ltd as an Associate Software Engineer from August 2011 to August 2012 and at IronOne Technologies LLC as an Associate Software Engineer from November 2010 to August 2011.

Mayura Nawarathne completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Peradeniya from 2006 to 2010. Before attending university, Mayura Nawarathne attended Ranabima Royal College, where they studied Advanced Level - Mathematics Stream. In terms of additional certifications, Mayura obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020. They also obtained the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation in February 2021. Most recently, Mayura obtained the Functional Programming with Java certification from LinkedIn in May 2023 and the Get It Done: Surprising Lessons from Motivation Science (Book Bite) certification, also from LinkedIn, in June 2023.
