Patrick W.

Patrick W. is an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who has worked in various companies. Patrick co-founded Tongo in 2021 and served as its CTO. Before that, they worked as the CTO in a confidential company between 2018 and 2022. Patrick also held the position of CTO in KW 54 INC from 2011 to 2018, where they established a successful C2C startup, designed technology and business standards, and developed staff. Patrick was the Chief Technology Officer of Virtual Solution AG from 2016 to 2017, where they directed cross-functional teams in product development, quality assurance, and enterprise applications. Patrick also served as the Managing Director and CTO of SmartBricks GmbH from 2002 to 2015, where they launched a start-up consultancy and delivery firm and consulted clients through the monetization of digital products and services in emerging and mature markets across 60 countries.

Patrick W. graduated from Business School Erlangen in 1994 with a Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications over the years, including becoming a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute in November 2018. Other certifications include Cybersecurity with Cloud Computing and Learning Cloud Computing: Core Concepts through LinkedIn in 2018 and 2017 respectively, as well as obtaining GxP Silver from Novartis in February 2008.
