Nkem Ike

Nkem Ike has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and people operations. Nkem started their career as a People Operations Specialist at Unicon Union Plc in 2010 and worked there until 2015. Nkem then joined The George Hotel Lagos as a Human Resources Executive from 2016 to 2017. In 2019, they founded Cadre Consulting Ltd, a human resource management start-up consulting company focused on SMEs. Nkem worked as Founder and HR Consultant at Cadre Consulting until 2022. During this time, they also worked as a People Operations Coordinator at GMC Logistics Ltd from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, they became the Head of Human Resources at Chaka, a company that enables African individuals and companies to invest globally. Nkem held this position until 2022. Currently, they are the Head of People Operations at Payhippo, a company that provides loans to SMEs in Africa.

Nkem Ike began their education in 2011 at the University of Nottingham, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sociology. They completed their undergraduate studies in 2013. In 2014, Nkem enrolled at Regent's University London to pursue a Master's degree in Management with a focus on Human Resources Management, which they completed in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Nkem has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn. In January and February 2022, they completed courses in "Creating a Culture That Inspires Your Employees," "Coaching and Developing Employees," "Employee Engagement," "Human Resources Foundations," "Human Resources: Running Company Onboarding," "Speaking Confidently and Effectively," and "Strategic Human Resources." These certifications reflect Nkem's dedication to enhancing their skills and knowledge in the field of Human Resources.
