Omar Mora

Omar Mora has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Omar is currently working as the LATAM Accounting Director at PayJoy since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Finance and Administration at Dostavista.mx from January 2021 to February 2022.

From 2017 to 2020, Omar worked at Universal Pictures (Mexico) S. de R.L. de C.V. where they held the position of Finance Controlling. Omar was responsible for handling management reporting matters, general accounting, tax compliance, audit, facility management, and systems improvement projects.

Before joining Universal Pictures, Omar worked as the Corporate Controller at Kidde de Mexico from June 2016 to June 2017.

From 2014 to 2016, they served as the Accounting Manager at Elavon, Inc., where they supervised accounting activities and was in charge of forecasting and revision vs. actuals.

Omar has also held positions such as Corporate Controller at Lectra from March 2013 to March 2014 and CFO Mesoamerica at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics from August 2011 to December 2012.

From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Siemens PLM Software in various roles, including CFO Mesoamerica and Accounting Manager.

Omar began their career at EDS Corp as a Controller Analyst & SUDBA from May 1997 to May 2001 and worked as an Auxiliary Accountant at Apaez from August 1996 to April 1997.

Omar Mora has a comprehensive education history. In 2018, they completed a course in digital marketing at ISDI. In 2013 and 2014, they pursued a Diploma of Education in International Finance at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. In 2005 and 2006, they obtained a Post Degree in International Accounting & Finance from Universidad Panamericana. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1999, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and ITAM. Finally, from 1991 to 1994, they completed their junior high and high school education with a focus on Finance and Administration at Colegio Frances Hidalgo.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Omar Mora has also obtained several certifications. Omar received a Digital Marketing certification from ISDI in 2019. In 2010, they obtained an Excel certification from ITESM Santa Fe. Finally, they completed training in Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI, although the specific year of completion is not provided.
