Sıla Ada

Sıla Ada has held various roles in the data analytics field since 2010. Sıla began their career as a Data Analyst at Alafortanfoni in 2010, followed by a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at Istanbul Kultur University in 2012. In 2015, they became a Teaching and Research Associate at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), where they gave lectures in data analysis and supervised bachelor and master theses. In 2019, they were appointed as Lead of Consumer Analytics at Paysafe Pay Later - Paysafe Group (payolution GmbH), where they managed programs and strategies for optimizing risk decisions. Most recently, in 2020, they joined BehaviorQuant as a Senior Data Scientist, where they statistically investigated the associations between behavioral characteristics and financial behaviors of the clients. In 2022, they were appointed as Head of Data Analytics at Payla.

Sıla Ada completed their Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Yildiz Technical University between 2005 and 2009. Sıla then attended Università degli Studi di Trieste to complete their Bachelor of Science in Mathematics between 2008 and 2009. Afterwards, they attended Boğaziçi University to complete their Master of Science in Industrial Engineering between 2010 and 2012, and then their Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Engineering between 2012 and 2015. Finally, they attended WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) to complete their Doctor of Philosophy in Social and Economic Sciences between 2015 and 2019.
