Seth Carlton

Seth Carlton is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and team management. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer and Dev Lead at Paylocity since April 2020, Seth specializes in building video solutions with a focus on API and JavaScript components, as well as creating a design framework for enhanced user experience and developer efficiency. Prior experience includes holding the position of VP of Engineering at VidGrid from February 2013 to April 2020, where Seth managed talent acquisition and contributed significantly to product planning and delivery. Seth's technical expertise also spans back-end web application development and front-end design from previous roles, including Associate Software Developer at Ascensus and Founder/Developer at SRC WebWorks. Seth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Thomas Edison State University.
