Avinav Sanyal

Avinav Sanyal is a Senior Software Engineer at Paytm since October 2024, previously serving in the same role at Paytm Insurance Broking where responsibilities included building a motor insurance platform. Prior to this, Avinav worked at Optum from July 2019 to September 2022 as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of the Data-Driven Rules engine and enhancing an in-house UI framework. Avinav also gained experience as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon in the summer of 2018, developing a Java application for fetching transit times from a DynamoDB database. Additional experience includes serving as a Student Representative at CodeChef from 2016 to 2018 and as a Teaching Assistant at IIT Mandi for an introductory programming course in late 2017. Avinav holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi, completed in 2019.
