Tim Rennie

Tim Rennie is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the financial and technology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at ASB Bank since April 2024, Tim specializes in SaaS and technology matters while supporting the bank's technology transformation initiatives. As General Counsel at Vyne since December 2022, Tim oversees legal functions for an open banking payments provider. Previously, Tim held the role of General Counsel at Laybuy from June 2020 to September 2023, managing legal operations across multiple countries during its ASX listing. Earlier experience includes key positions at epay Worldwide, PayPoint plc, and interim legal counsel roles at British Gas. Tim holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Waikato and is currently furthering expertise in English Grammar through the NZ Writers College.
