Barak Salem

Barak Salem is a seasoned data and business intelligence professional with over two decades of experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Data Architect and FinOps Expert at Paz Oil Company since January 2022, Barak specializes in establishing organizational data hubs and designing data flows using the Azure ecosystem. Previously, Barak led a team of seven as the Business Intelligence Team Lead at Cal (Israel Credit Cards), focusing on achieving financial and technological targets. During a tenure at HP from October 2012 to January 2020, Barak contributed as both a BI Team Leader and BI Architect and Developer, leading the design and implementation of advanced data solutions. Early career experience includes a role as a Billing & DWH Developer at Motorola Solutions, where Barak developed billing procedures and advanced UNIX & PL/SQL scripts. Barak holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from The College of Management Academic Studies, completed in 2004.
