Michel Schelkens

Michel Schelkens is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in operations and supply chain controlling, currently serving as the Head of Global Operations & Supply Chain Controlling at PB Leiner since August 2023. Previous roles include Finance Director and Business Unit Controller for Euramax, where Michel focused on strategic financial management and improvement potential for the Architectural Products Unit. Michel has also held several senior positions at DSM, overseeing financial management in various units including Advanced Solar and BioMedical, and has experience in leading financial initiatives for joint ventures such as Reverdia. Educational credentials include a Master's in Applied Economic Sciences from the University of Antwerp and an Executive Master of Finance & Control from Maastricht University. Michel has also obtained certifications in Lean Management and Internal Control Systems.
