Gary Wolf has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Gary started their career as a Process Engineer at Vista Chemical, where they designed and installed capital projects. Gary then moved on to Borden Chemical as a Plant Engineer, where they continued designing and implementing capital projects. After working in the US Army Reserves as a Commissioned Officer, Gary joined Pactiv Corp as a Plant Engineer, overseeing engineering, maintenance, and quality. Gary later worked at Compass Minerals as an Operations Manager, where they successfully managed inventory levels and reduced overtime and demurrage costs. Following this, Gary joined Exide Technologies as a Production Manager, implementing the Toyota Production System and overseeing the assembly and formation departments. Gary then joined Bayer CropScience as the Director of Operations for the Active Ingredients Site IV, managing four plants and serving as Venture Manager for a new patented product. Most recently, Gary worked at PBI-Gordon Corporation as the Vice President of Operations, responsible for safe and efficient operations, procurement, and full P&L responsibility. Throughout their career, Gary has consistently demonstrated leadership and achieved successful outcomes in various operational roles.
Gary Wolf, DBA has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Alabama, which they obtained from 1987 to 1991. Gary then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from Wake Forest University School of Business from 1996 to 1999. Currently, they are studying for a Doctorate in Business Administration at California Southern University, a program they started in 2016 and is expected to complete in 2022. In addition to their academic qualifications, Gary also holds certifications in areas such as communication (Competent Communicator from Toastmasters International) and process improvement (6 Sigma Black Belt from ASQ and CPIM from APICS).
