Stephanie York

Stephanie York is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in communications and public relations. Currently serving as the Executive Director at The Shaw JCC of Akron since May 2023, Stephanie previously held the position of Host for PBS Show Forum 360 at PBS Western Reserve since September 2016. Prior to that, a tenure at Hennes Communications as Vice President and In House Counsel was complemented by a role as Director of Communications and Public Relations at Cleveland Clinic. With a foundational career at the City of Akron, where Stephanie was Director of Communications and Assistant Director of Law from 1992 to 2015, significant contributions included strategic planning, crisis management, and liaising between the Mayor and various stakeholders. Education includes a Doctor of Law from the University of Akron, supplemented by leadership training from Leadership Akron and a Bachelor of Science in Interpersonal Communications from Ohio University.
