Bill Amberg

Bill Amberg is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Technology at PBS since April 2014, Bill oversees engineering teams for user-facing PBS video products across various platforms. Previously, Bill held roles such as Director of Technology at PBS, where responsibilities included both leadership and individual contributions. As a freelance Software Engineer from December 2011 to July 2023, Bill delivered contract development work. Bill's prior experience includes serving as Chief Technology Officer at WDG, where leadership and development were key, and roles at Domin-8 Enterprise Solutions and Rina Systems, focusing on property management and hedge fund applications, respectively. Bill holds a degree in Systems Analysis from Miami University, obtained in 2003.
