Darcy Lubbers, PhD, MFT, ATR-BC, is a highly experienced marriage and family therapist and clinical art therapist with over 25 years in the field. Currently in private practice since January 1986, Darcy specializes in a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to psychotherapy, also serving as a meditation instructor at the Chopra Center for Well Being. As an Advanced Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Darcy utilizes body-oriented methods to address trauma and teaches at PCH Treatment Center. Previously, Darcy founded and directed Magic of Healing West, offering workshops on mind-body healing and expressive arts therapies. Academic credentials include a PhD in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Somatic Psychology from The Chicago School for Professional Psychology, along with other qualifications in art therapy and somatic experiencing.
