Vinayak Sawant is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operational analysis and optimization within the energy sector. Currently serving as Principal Analyst in Optimization & Analytics at Power Costs, Inc. since March 2010, Vinayak conducts in-depth analyses of operational and financial data related to power plants and systems. Prior roles include Senior Operations Research Analyst and Business Analyst, where responsibilities involved formulating mathematical models and documenting business requirements. Previously, at Ingenero Technologies, Vinayak provided technical consulting in the petrochemical industry, developing simulation models and optimizing production processes. Vinayak's career began as Manager of Operations at Reliance Industries Ltd., overseeing plant startup and production activities. Vinayak holds an MBA in Finance, Risk Management, and Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
