Jasmine Sloan is an experienced educator with a background in various teaching and administrative roles. Currently serving as a PCMI Substitute Teacher since August 2018, Jasmine has provided support for K-12 students, including long-term assignments for 1st-3rd grade students. Previously, Jasmine was the Title 1 STEPS Assistant Coordinator at Little Rock School District, overseeing a tutoring program for young learners. As a Corps Member with City Year Little Rock, Jasmine coordinated literacy initiatives for 15-20 students. Additional work experience includes positions as a Crew Trainer with McDonald's Corporation, an Assistant at One Summer Chicago, and a Mentee with the Chicago Violence Prevention Program. Jasmine also served as a Mentor with the Institute for Positive Living. Jasmine holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Philander Smith University, earned in 2016.
