Stuart Rich

Stuart Rich is a Principal Engineer at PDL. Stuart has also worked with Arup as a Summer Placement Student from June 2010 to September 2010 in M&E, Bristol where they were responsible for the heating and ventilation design of a school building including CAD drawings and parts specifications. Stuart also worked on the 3D modelling of mechanical systems for Abu Dhabi International Airport in CAD-Duct. Stuart's role included training others in use of the software and reviewing others’ work. Stuart has also worked as a Summer Placement Student with Arup from July 2008 to September 2008 and again from June 2009 to August 2009 in Communications, London. Stuart's responsibilities included assisting in submission of full communications design for Khalifa Bin Zayed National Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Stuart's work included reviewing and editing specifications, positioning mobile phone antennas, arranging cabinets in server rooms and checking and updating drawings. Stuart began their career with Arup as a Pre-University Trainee from September 2006 to May 2007.

Stuart Rich studied mechanical engineering at Durham University and later received certification from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers in CEng MIMechE.

Stuart Rich reports to Alex Roff, Engineering Director. They are on a team with Elizabeth Waterman - Senior Engineer, John Cowper - Senior Engineer, and Ben Richardson - Senior Engineer.
