Tom Battles

Tom Battles has extensive experience in security management, currently serving as Business Owner at FedEx Ground since 2021 and Manager of Global Security at Peabody Energy since April 2014. In the role at Peabody Energy, responsibilities include planning and evaluating physical security measures and assisting regional staff with security policies. Previously, Tom held the position of Senior Manager of Global Security, directing crisis incident response for global business units. Prior to joining Peabody Energy, Tom worked at Anheuser-Busch InBev in St. Louis from 1998 to April 2014. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Lindenwood University, earned between 2000 and 2004. Additionally, education was pursued at St. Mary's.
