Karen Moreau-Ceballos has an extensive work history in the art and museum industry. Karen started their career at Baltimore Clayworks in 2000, where they held various roles, including Executive Assistance to the Director, Community Arts Instructor, and Communications Coordinator. In 2007, they moved to the Peabody Essex Museum, where they took on roles such as Exhibition Graphic Designer, Manager of Exhibition Design Projects, Exhibition Manager, and most recently, Associate Director of Exhibition Design. Their experience highlights their diverse skill set and commitment to the arts.
Karen Moreau-Ceballos obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 1992. In 2007, they earned a Certificate in Graphic and Web Design from The Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University. Additionally, they have a certification in Leadership Training for Managers from Dale Carnegie Training.
